September 30, 2015 – Cameron is working with United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Suffolk to develop and implement a major expansion of The Employment Connection, its program to connect qualified workers with disabilities and employers on Long Island.
The centerpiece of the program expansion will be a redesign and re-envisioning of The Employment Connection website. The greatly expanded site will provide employers with a wide range of resources to reduce time and money spent on the hiring process and educate them on the benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities; and will inform individuals with disabilities and their families about the many services offered by the program, which include assessment tools, job seeking skills, safety training, interviewing skills, computer training, and experiential training.
In addition to rebranding the program and creating the website, Cameron will develop and implement a comprehensive outreach strategy to engage Suffolk employers and potential employees with disabilities. Among the elements of the multi-media branding/marketing program will be extensive print collateral materials; original testimonial and training videos; online and print advertising strategy and materials; PowerPoint presentations; direct mail materials and programs; trade show materials and programs; social media programs; e-learning modules; and design for the program’s new mobile employment van.
