May 13, 2015 – A regional pioneer and leader in empowering victims and survivors of domestic violence, the Suffolk County Coalition Against Domestic Violence recently partnered with Cameron to lead a rebranding and the development of a new website for the organization.
Originally founded in 1976, the organization’s programs currently touch over 14,000 Long Islanders, adults and children, each year. To reflect the expanded reach of the organization and its impact in the region, Cameron recommended a new name – L.I. Against Domestic Violence – and tagline – Prevention. Support. Healing. – and designed an impactful new logo.
Cameron then worked with LIADV to develop an expanded and updated website that includes information about getting help and staying safe for those currently facing abusive relationships; full details about LIADV services; success stories of domestic violence survivors who have been helped by LIADV programs; background information to educate the community about the full costs of domestic violence; and new functionality that allows direct donations to the organization be made online. The website recently went live after a launch event for local supporters and dignitaries led by LIADV.
